Spirituality

At Earley St Peter's, we recognise our responsibility to prove a nurturing climate for our pupils that enables them to develop spiritually. To facilitate this, we have worked in partnership with our stakeholders, including pupils, parents, staff and governors to create our shared of understanding of Spirituality.

At Earley St Peter’s we define Spirituality as:

the connection with ourselves and the world around us which allows everyone to develop a sense of belonging through an ongoing journey of discovery.

Spiritual development is then broken down into 4 interconnected elements which run as threads through our curriculum and add richness to the pupils journey through the school.

1. Connection with themselves
2. Connection with each other
3. Connection with nature and the environment
4. Moments of awe and wonder
