I first became a Foundation Governor at Earley St. Peter’s in 2017 and have held a variety of responsibilities since then. My current roles are: Chair of CDC (Child Development Committee); Admissions Governor; link for EYFS Curriculum; link for Eco-council.
My background is in Financial Services where I worked for 17 years in IT and Project Management. When I first joined the Board of Governors, I was a full-time mum and the role was a fantastic opportunity to use my skills and experience and to develop new ones while taking a break from the workplace. I now work part-time for a UK wide parenting charity as a Data Analyst.
I am also a parent at Earley St Peters and I have 3 girls at the school in Years 3, 4 & 6. I really enjoy being a Governor for our wonderful school and see it as great way to use my skills and experience to contribute to our school community.

Term of office: 03.06.25-04.06.29
When my two daughters joined Earley St Peters I was keen to get involved within the school community and was lucky enough to be elected as a Parent Governor. I see the role of a Governor as key to the school’s strategic direction, helping shape its vision and values in providing education and unlocking the potential in our children.
I bring experience from an engineering career spanning 17 years across a range of industries, from aerospace, the military, railway and consulting.
